Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ossi Jokinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Atlister The Demon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jokinen might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Prodigy - Omen. The Demon comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Demon kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Atlister The Demon has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Ossi Jokinen!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Atlister The Demon!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Ivan Kurochkin and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Demon moves out of range of the body kick.
Jokinen throws a leg kick but The Demon checks it.
The Demon lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jokinen circles away quickly and effectively.
A jab from Jokinen does it's job there.
Jokinen ducks under a wild hook from The Demon.

The Demon drives through with a takedown into guard.

The Demon takes a little break here. Jokinen wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

You can see the frustration on Jokinen's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The Demon is looking to take a break and control but Jokinen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Jokinen takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The Demon shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

A kick lands to the mid section there for Jokinen.

and The Demon makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
The Demon stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Jokinen.
Jokinen throws a shot from downtown. The Demon moves away and avoids it.
The Demon takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
The Demon checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Jokinen looks to score with a jab to the body but The Demon is just out of range.
Jokinen avoids the body shot from The Demon.
The Demon ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jokinen moves away.
Jokinen will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Jokinen throws a low kick, looking for The Demon's leg but The Demon calmly moves out of range.

The Demon shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jokinen defends it nicely.
The Demon ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jokinen moves away.

Jokinen feints and then cracks The Demon's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow The Demon down.

The Demon gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Jokinen blocks a jab.
Jokinen tries to work over The Demon's front leg with a kick but The Demon checks it.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Jokinen lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for The Demon!

Jokinen takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The Demon shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than The Demon was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Jokinen's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
The Demon fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over.
