Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jerry Langol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ther Terror (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ther Terror will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ther Terror!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Damien Edna and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Langol keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Langol looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Terror has had enough of the clinch but Langol keeps him there for the moment.
Langol tries to land a knee to the head but Terror blocks with his arms.
Langol creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Terror wants to get back to striking at distance but Langol won't allow it.
Langol keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Terror's efforts to push away.
Terror wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Langol has him pressed against the cage.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Langol keeps control of Terror as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Langol's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Langol really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Langol won't let Terror get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Terror is desperately trying to improve his position but Langol has a good base and remains in mount.
Terror is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Langol takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Terror has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Langol is working away from the top position though.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jerry Langol.
I think Langol has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
