The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryan bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Gutt pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A left lands for Ryan.

It looks like Arnold Gutt has been cut.
Arnold Gutt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gutt ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Gutt throws a nice head kick!

It looks like Jack Ryan has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ryan blocks a head kick by Gutt.
Gutt throws a right hand that misses
and Ryan counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Gutt is breathing heavily.
Ryan just misses with a punch to the body.
Ryan lands a nice looking kick to the body. Gutt takes a step back to recover.
Ryan lands a nice leg kick that just misses Gutt's sensitive parts.
Gutt takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Ryan feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Gutt's calf.
Ryan throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Ryan lands a big uppercut and Gutt crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Gutt looks OK. Ryan waves Gutt back to his feet!

Arnold Gutt's cut is getting worse.
Ryan looks for the body kick but Gutt saw that one coming.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ryan throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Gutt crashing down! Gutt tries to stagger back to his feet but Ryan just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Gutt asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
