Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ireneusz Jelen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grant Bonner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ireneusz Jelen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Grant Bonner! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, William Gold and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bonner changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jelen tries to avoid it but Bonner manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jelen to the ground. Jelen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Jelen takes the fight into the clinch. Jelen lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Bonner should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Jelen digs a right hand underneath Bonner's ribcage. Bonner let out a lung full of air as it connected. Bonner breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bonner shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jelen pinned against the cage. Jelen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Jelen shoots in looking for a takedown. Bonner tries to sprawl out of it but Jelen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bonner manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Jelen ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Bonner on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Jelen. Jelen obviously looking to wear him down.
Jelen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bonner but Bonner pushes him off and we're back to square one. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jelen. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ireneusz Jelen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jelen tests Bonner's chin there with a solid looking shot. Jelen tries for a takedown but Bonner sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Jelen is breathing heavily. Bonner decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Jelen circles away from the clinch attempt and Jelen counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Jelen closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. This has been an exciting period of action! Jelen pulls guard effortlessly. Bonner stands and steps away. Jelen gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Jelen misses with a few strikes there.

Jelen will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Bonner shoots in but Jelen avoids the takedown attempt easily. Bonner shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jelen as he jumps to the side. Bonner bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. You can see the frustration on Jelen's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jelen is trying to improve his position. Jelen is working to avoid the ground and pound but Bonner connects with a decent elbow. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jelen sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Bonner thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Ireneusz Jelen will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Bonner's half guard. Jelen seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bonner does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Jelen thows a big elbow that misses. Grant Bonner has got the better of the ground game so far. Bonner tries to land a sweep but no joy. Jelen is looking to stand up but Bonner won't let him. Jelen pushes down on Bonner's leg and manages to get into half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Jelen in particular looking to stall. Bonner makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Bonner. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Bonner holds on and takes a little breather.

We're going to have a standup here because Ireneusz Jelen wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Bonner throws a right hand that Jelen ducks under and follows up with a left that Jelen also avoids with ease. No luck for Bonner with that takedown attempt. Ireneusz Jelen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Grant Bonner. Jelen fails with a takedown attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jelen misses with a takedown attempt - Bonner sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Bonner throws a nice inside leg kick. Jelen fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Bonner on the side of the head. Bonner looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Jelen wants to sweep here but Bonner controlling him for the moment. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jelen controls Bonner momentarily but Bonner frees himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Ireneusz Jelen will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

The ref stands the fighters back up. Ireneusz Jelen wasn't doing enough on the ground. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jelen. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Bonner shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Bonner tries to clinch but fails miserably and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Bonner stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bonner wants it to stay on the feet. Jelen is looking to clinch. Bonner throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bonner shoots for a double leg takedown but Jelen sprawls well. He's pushed Bonner's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Jelen misses with a double jab.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ireneusz Jelen. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bonner breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Bonner looking to score a takedown here. Jelen is defending well but Bonner drives through and ends up in Jelen's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jelen wants to control the position but Bonner says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bonner is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Bonner's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bonner is working for a kimura but Jelen is defending it quite comfortably.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Bonner wants to take a breather but Jelen is having none of it. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Bonner takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Bonner works his way into full mount! Bonner controlling from mount. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bonner unloading with bombs!
And that's the end of the fight! Grant Bonner comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Jelen has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
