Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Dettman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Covalent Minibar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dettman comes to the cage accompanied by Living on a Thin Line. Minibar comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Eye of the Tiger kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Covalent Minibar will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Minibar tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Dettman manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Dettman lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
A lazy left from Dettman finds it's target.
Dettman lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Minibar is looking to clinch.
The crowd cheers as Dettman lands an impressive looking overhand right. Minibar doesn't seem phased though.

Minibar is rocked!
Minibar closes the distance looking to clinch

and Dettman holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Minibar is still on wobbly legs! Can Dettman finish him?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A body shot lands from Dettman.
Dettman connects with a nasty looking knee right to Minibar's face.

It looks like Covalent Minibar has been cut.
Dettman lands a big knee to the head and Minibar goes down! Dettman pounces and finishes the fight with strikes! He jumps to his feet and celebrates with the crowd!

A relieved looking Bobby Dettman thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
