Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jay Jakobz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bradley Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Burns's choice of entrance music: Off with his head- Big Pun. Bradley Burns looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jay Jakobz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Bradley Burns! The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Glass and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jakobz moves into the clinch. Jakobz has Burns pushed against the ropes. Burns is looking to control Jakobz's arms but Jakobz gets an underhook and turns him. Now Burns has his back to the ropes. Jakobz drags the fight down to the ground.
Jakobz tries to land a sweep but no joy. Burns looking to pass the guard. Jakobz seems keen to control Burns's posture. Burns stands up out of Jakobz's guard for a moment - Jakobz manages to land a nice upkick. Burns looking to pass the guard. Jakobz wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Jakobz tries to strike from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jakobz is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Burns trying to stand up but can't free himself from Jakobz's guard. Jakobz looking to control.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Jakobz moves into range and clinches up with Burns. Jakobz prevents Burns from breaking the clinch. Burns wants to stall.

Jakobz fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Burns, pushing him back against the ropes. Burns is trying to maintain a safe position but Jakobz gets an underhook and turns Burns into the ropes. Jakobz avoiding damage.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. The fighters are pressed against the ropes, as the pace of the fight slows. Burns is trying to break free. Burns wants to get back to striking at distance but Jakobz won't allow it.
Jakobz escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Burns shoots in but Jakobz avoids the takedown attempt easily. Burns looks gassed! A right-left combo lands from Jakobz.
It looks like Bradley Burns has been cut. Excellent takedown into side control there by Jakobz. Jakobz landing a few strikes. Burns is looking to regain half guard here but Jakobz keeps moving and retains side control. Burns taking punishment in the form of punches.
Jakobz cracks Burns with a big right hand but Burns just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Jakobz is working Burns over with some ground and pound from side control. Jakobz trying to control the position but Burns is working away.

Burns tries to buck Jakobz off but Jakobz is having none of it. Jakobz wants to control but Burns is keeping him busy. Jakobz has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. He can't get it on this occasion though. Jakobz is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Jakobz prevents Burns from breaking the clinch. Burns can't break the clinch.
Come on Jakobz - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Jakobz has Burns pressed up against the ropes. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Jakobz pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Burns tumbling to the mat - Jakobz dives into Burns's guard. Burns looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Jakobz passes into half guard.
Jakobz takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Burns is breathing heavily. Jakobz working Burns over with strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jakobz trying to control from half guard but Burns is working away. Burns tries to kick Jakobz off but Jakobz keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Jakobz wants to lay and pray for a moment but Burns keeps working. Jakobz thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Burns looks like he's trying to stand up.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Burns manages to get to full guard.
Burns has his foot on Jakobz's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jakobz works his way back into a safe position though. Burns working for a triangle but Jakobz defends it easily.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jakobz tries to close the distance and clinch up but Burns swats him away and circles back towards the center.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Burns wants to clinch up but Jakobz keeps it at a distance. Burns just misses with a punch to the body.

Burns is looking to break free of the clinch but Jakobz has double underhooks. Burns wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Jakobz pushes Burns up against the ropes in a clinch. Jakobz breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Burns shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jakobz pinned against the cage. Jakobz gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Jakobz drives through and clinches with Burns against the ropes.

Burns tries to lock up and control but Jakobz gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Jakobz wants to control the pace but Burns is squirming around nicely. Burns is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Jakobz is landing with some decent strikes but Burns is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Burns really wants to buck Jakobz off and get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jakobz lands a big elbow. Burns keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Jakobz drops an elbow to the side of Burns's head. Jakobz looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

And that's the end of the fight! Jay Jakobz showed his dominance in that final round. Well Jakobz has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
