Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jin Lieu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wong Yan Lin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wong Yan Lin!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lin uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lieu.
Lin throws a right and a left that Lieu avoids nicely.
Lin avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Lieu throws an overhand right that lands on Lin's shoulder, as Lin tries to avoid the shot.
Lieu avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Lin lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lieu circles away quickly and effectively.
Lieu looks to land a right hand but Lin moved out of range.
Lin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Lieu gets a clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Lieu creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
A short right from Lieu on the inside.
Lieu lands an uppercut.
Lieu tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Lieu is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Lin working hard to break the clinch.

Lieu keeps control of Lin as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Lieu swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Lin has had enough of the clinch but Lieu keeps him there for the moment.

Lieu manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Lin avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Lieu had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Lin defends it easily.
Lin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lieu. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Lieu pulls guard.
Lieu is trying to control the position but Lin postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

and Lin counters with a nice kick to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lin moves away from the strike by Lieu.
Lieu throws a poor cross that misses
and Lin counters with an inside leg kick.

and Lin counters with a head kick.
Lieu throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Lieu misses with a hook
and Lin counters with a flying knee. Nice.
A low kick from Lin misses
and Lieu counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jin Lieu!
A relieved looking Jin Lieu thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
