The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holt looks to score with a jab to the body but Pakkaaja is just out of range.

It looks like Manny Holt has been cut.

Holt darts in and clinches Pakkaaja up against the cage.

Holt swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Holt closes the distance and clinches up with Pakkaaja, looking for a takedown. Holt pushes Pakkaaja against the cage but Pakkaaja circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Holt rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pakkaaja moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Holt fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pakkaaja manages to avoid it.

Holt feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Pakkaaja is looking to stand up but Holt isn't so interested in that idea.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Pakkaaja wants to stand and escape but Holt is having none of it.

Holt is keen to just control but Pakkaaja is a slippery customer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pakkaaja is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Holt scores with a couple of nice shots.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Holt misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
