Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brad Bombada! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Blaze Bailey! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Jorge Garcia and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bombada scores with a punch to the head. Bailey throws a sloppy body shot
and Bombada counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Bailey pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bailey uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bombada.
Bombada misses with an uppercut. Bailey saw that one coming. Bombada throws a combination that misses and Bailey counters with a big head kick but Bombada shrugs it off. Bailey takes one on the button. Bombada throws a body punch but Bailey moves out of range. Bombada throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Bombada throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Bombada misses with a hook. Bailey ducked under it nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bailey slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Bombada rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bailey moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Bombada misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Bombada changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Bailey avoids a punch combination nicely.
Bailey connects with a nice looking jab.
Bailey uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bombada. Some wild striking there from Bombada.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bombada takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Bailey tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Bombada misses with a jab, cross combination.
Bombada misses with a wild body shot. Bombada swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Brad Bombada seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bombada throws a jab when Bailey was well out of range. Bombada digs a good hook to Bailey's body.
Bombada throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bailey throws a leg kick and Bombada counters with a one-two to the body. A big left from Bailey misses. A looping hook to the body misses from Bombada. Bailey does a little dance to reset his feet. Bombada scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Bailey doesn't seem bothered though. Bombada lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Bailey at a distance.

Bailey tries to move into range but Bombada moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bombada tests Bailey's chin there with a solid looking shot. Bailey takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Bailey is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bombada throws a right and a left that Bailey avoids nicely. Bailey avoids the body shot from Bombada.
Bailey walks into a jab. Bailey goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bombada dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Bombada lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Bailey at a distance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Bailey in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. Bombada takes a swing at Bailey's ribcage but misses. Bombada misses with a double jab
and Bailey counters with a flying knee. Nice. Bombada scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Bombada throws a right hand that misses
enabling Bailey to counter with a crisp jab. Brad Bombada is winning the standup battle so far. Bailey takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

and Bailey cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Good exchange - Bombada coming out on top. Bailey takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Bailey is still on wobbly legs! Can Bombada finish him? Bombada throws a right and a left that Bailey avoids nicely. Bombada throws a right and a left that Bailey avoids nicely. and Bailey counters with a series of strikes. Bombada will be more careful next time no doubt. Bailey seems to have recovered his senses. Bombada throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Bailey misses with a low kick. Bombada fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bailey manages to avoid it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bombada throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bombada swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Bombada thuds his right hand into Bailey's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bailey throws a head kick but Bombada moves out of range.
Bailey doesn't manage to clinch there - Bombada circles away.
Bombada lands a really nice looking cross but Bailey seems unphased.
Bailey cracks the inside of Bombada's front leg. Bombada clobbers Bailey with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bailey throws a nice head kick!
Bombada lands with a cross. Bombada misses with a hook. Bailey ducked under it nicely. Bombada drops Bailey with a beautiful combination! Bailey stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Bombada is looking for the KO! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bailey wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Bailey misses with a low kick.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Bombada swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Bombada fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brad Bombada dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Bailey might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Bombada has got the better of the exchanges. Bailey tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bombada was well out of range. Poor timing from Bailey. Bombada cracks Bailey with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Bailey walks into a left hand. Nice uppercut lands for Bombada. That snapped Bailey's head back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bombada lands with a big left! Bailey is wobbled badly! Bombada comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Bailey to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
