Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cyprien Noe Cyr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zuese Zorro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zuese Zorro will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cyprien Noe Cyr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Zuese Zorro! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cyr shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Cyr is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Zorro cracks the inside of Cyr's front leg. Cyr shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Zorro working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Cyr has passed into half guard!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Zorro is concentrating on defense, preventing Cyr from advancing position. Zorro is staying active underneath Cyr, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Cyr keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Zorro looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Cyr keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cyr looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Cyr decides to stand and escape the position. A head kick misses from Zorro. Cyr closes the distance and clinches. Knees in the clinch landing for Zorro.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Zorro. Cyr tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Cyr jumps guard but Zorro stands there with Cyr around his waist. Cyr gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Zorro ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Zorro no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Zorro trying to control the position.
Cyr controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cyr trying to control the position from guard on top but Zorro is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Cyr looking to pass the guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Zorro is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Cyr dives into side control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Zorro wants to get back to his feet. Zorro is trying to improve his position. Cyr tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Cyr has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Zorro wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land. Cyr is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Zorro is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Zorro regains half guard. Zorro tries to kick Cyr off but Cyr keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Zorro is looking to get back to is feet but Cyr passes into side control.
Zorro gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Cyr works his way into full mount! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cyr looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Zorro reaches up to try and control the position but Cyr seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Zorro rolls and tries to escape and now Cyr has his back!
Cyr has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Zorro has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Zorro won't enjoy being in this position. Cyr looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Zorro is tapping - it's over boys! Cyr picks up the submission victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Cyprien Noe Cyr!
