The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mahe shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Mahe is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Humphrey doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Mahe. Humphrey is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Mahe pulls his head out easily. Kaleo Mahe overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mahe is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
