Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between SDf Asdf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sad Sak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sad Sak will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, SDf Asdf!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Sad Sak!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Colin Fotheringham and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sak feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Asdf working a defensive guard but Sak passes into half guard.
Sak perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Asdf keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Asdf wants to control but Sak is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Sak unloads with some shots from mount but Asdf bucks and avoids them well.
Asdf is bucking up trying to escape but Sak cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Asdf throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Asdf enables Sak to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Asdf manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Sak not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Sak stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Asdf swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Sak is in close to Asdf's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Sak controlling from the top position.

Sak tries to free his leg and advance position but Asdf is retaining full guard.

Sak stands up over Asdf, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Sak passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Asdf manages to work his way to half guard, despite Sak's best efforts.
Asdf is staying active underneath Sak, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Sak not doing much here.
Sak seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Asdf does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Sak frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Sak throws some wild stikes that Asdf manages to avoid easily.

Sak wants to finish this one by submission but Asdf is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Sak.
This has been an exciting period of action!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Sad Sak showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The cut man is working on SDf Asdf's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!


Sak shoots for a takedown but Asdf saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Sak postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Asdf looks a forlorn figure.

Sad Sak is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.


SDf Asdf's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at SDf Asdf's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
