The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaliniev wants to clinch
and De Vito counters with a shoot takedown. Kaliniev fights it but they end up in guard.
De Vito won't allow Kaliniev to sweep him here.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
De Vito keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Kaliniev's head.
De Vito is pushing down on Kaliniev's leg trying to pass to half guard. Kaliniev is fighting to maintain full guard but De Vito has managed to sneak the leg through.
De Vito lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
De Vito keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

De Vito tries to pass to full mount but Kaliniev defends it.

De Vito postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
De Vito utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

De Vito manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Kaliniev is in all sorts of trouble here.
Kaliniev takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
De Vito lands a big elbow.
Kaliniev is rocked!
De Vito loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Kaliniev scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from De Vito land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. De Vito stands and salutes the crowd.
