Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Drew Infamous (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Equinox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Infamous comes to the cage accompanied by Maino - Soldier. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, John Equinox! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Seu Braga and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Infamous doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Infamous on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
It looks like Drew Infamous has been cut. Equinox throws a lazy right hand but Infamous sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Equinox takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Equinox throws the left hand but Infamous avoids the punch easily. Infamous closes the distance and clinches up with Equinox, looking for a takedown. Infamous pushes Equinox against the cage but Equinox circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Infamous displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Equinox throws out the jab. Equinox has Infamous up against the cage in a clinch.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Drew Infamous. That's going to take a lot out of him. Equinox is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Equinox wants to get back to striking at distance but Infamous won't allow it.

Equinox has had enough of the clinch but Infamous keeps him there for the moment. Equinox breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Infamous slips a jab from Equinox. Infamous will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Equinox is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent. Infamous takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Infamous moves away and avoids it. Infamous shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Infamous staying out of range there. Infamous shoots for a double leg takedown but Equinox sprawls well. He's pushed Infamous's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Equinox comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Infamous moves away from the strike by Equinox. Infamous avoids a punch combination nicely.

Equinox is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Equinox looks to clinch and Infamous counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Equinox has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
