The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
deFunes throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Mcgee swats away the attempt to clinch by deFunes.
deFunes takes the fight into the clinch.
deFunes tries to work over Mcgee's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
deFunes stalls.
Mcgee is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables deFunes to keep the fight standing.
deFunes lands on the inside with an uppercut.
deFunes content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Mcgee tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Nice body punch from deFunes.
Mcgee fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Luis deFunes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Handles Mcgee.

Mcgee drops down looking for an ankle pick but deFunes pulls his leg out and moves away.
deFunes lands a glancing blow to the side of Mcgee's head.

deFunes throws a head kick but Mcgee moves out of range.
Good shot there by deFunes.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Mcgee.
deFunes throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Mcgee misses with a wild combination.
Luis deFunes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mcgee looks gassed!
Mcgee takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mcgee is defended easily by deFunes.
deFunes scores with a push kick.

deFunes lands a big head kick that sends Mcgee tumbling to the mat! deFunes takes a step backwards and waves Mcgee back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Mcgee tries to get into range but deFunes steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Mcgee! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! deFunes scores the big KO victory!

A less than humble Luis deFunes misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
