Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Askren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dummy Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dummy Jones!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Askren dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Askren takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Jones throws a push kick but Askren slaps the foot to one side.
Askren getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Jones dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Askren fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Jones throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Jones throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

and Jones counters with a left to the body.
Askren throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jones stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
A decent looking cross lands there for Askren.
Askren misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jones.
Good leg kick by Jones there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Dummy Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jones moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Askren fails with a takedown attempt.

Jones lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Askren at a distance.

Jones lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jones buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Askren jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Askren is looking to wear down Jones with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Jones connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Dummy Jones is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jones lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Jones takes the fight into the clinch.
Jones lands a nice shot to the body.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Jones.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Jones.
Jones breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Askren walks forward, straight into a front kick from Jones.

Jones has managed to clinch.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Jones can't find room to land a body shot as Askren controls the action.
Jones breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Askren shoots in for a takedown but Jones shows good takedown defense.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jones looks to land a body kick but Askren moved away.
Askren shoots in but Jones avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Jones jabs Askren to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Jones fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Good exchange - Jones coming out on top.
Askren stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Jones.
Askren has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Jones.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Jones, right into the meat.
Jones cracks Askren with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dummy Jones dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Jones lands with a kick to the ribs.
Askren takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Askren steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Jones. That one must have hurt.
Jones moves into the clinch.
Askren is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Jones pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Jones! Askren is out on his feet! Jones rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Askren is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Askren is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dummy Jones!
