PBP Commentary |
Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Da BOOm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dirky Spatt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spatt has chosen physical as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Spatt gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
BOOm connects with a couple of short punches.
Spatt is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and BOOm dives into side control.
Spatt tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
BOOm trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Spatt doesn't escape.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

BOOm lands with a hammerfist to the side of Spatt's head.
Spatt really doesn't want to stay on the ground with BOOm. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

BOOm will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Spatt is trying to get back to his feet but BOOm has full control of the position and if anything, Spatt has just worked his way into a worse spot.
