Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lerba Schmeizel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antti Karpetti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schmeizel comes to the cage accompanied by Hava Nagila. Antti Karpetti will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schmeizel scores with a jab.
Karpetti scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Schmeizel swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Schmeizel looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Schmeizel shoots in but Karpetti avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Karpetti misses the jab.
Schmeizel clinches up against the cage.
Schmeizel blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Schmeizel manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Schmeizel comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Karpetti scores with a shot to the side of Schmeizel's head.
Schmeizel successfully pulls guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Schmeizel is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Karpetti rolls with it to try and escape but Schmeizel cranks on the arm and Karpetti is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Lerba Schmeizel!
