Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bj Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucky Me (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bj Penn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lucky Me!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Me just misses with a punch to the body.
Penn slips under a jab.
Me swings for the body but Penn moves out of range.
Penn keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Me throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Penn on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Me throws a jab but it's blocked by Penn.
Penn takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Lucky Me seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Me thows a body shot but no joy.
Me throws a body punch but Penn moves out of range.
Me connects with the punch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A punch lands to the side of Penn 's head but he takes it in his stride.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Penn keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Me.
Penn throws a looping overhand right but Me ducks down to avoid it.
Me wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Penn is breathing heavily.
Me misses the shot to the body.
Me thows a body shot but no joy.
Penn waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Me.
Me is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Penn rather than just go for the knockout.
Penn gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Me.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Me tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Penn was well out of range. Poor timing from Me.
Me connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Penn momentarily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A looping hook to the body misses from Me. Penn does a little dance to reset his feet.
Penn takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Me fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Penn manages to avoid it.

Me waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Penn. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Penn to the canvas! Can he finish him!?


Penn is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Me stands up and waves to Penn to follow him.
Oh Penn is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Me throws a hook to the side of Penn's head but Penn sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Penn seems to have got his legs back now.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Me dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Me lands with a nice body punch.
Penn uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Me.
Me dips to his left and cracks Penn with an uppercut!

Me drops Penn with a big left hand and mounts him. Penn is in big trouble!


Penn is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Me is looking to work his way around to Penn's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.
Me controlling his opponent.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Me gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Me misses with a wild body shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lucky Me dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Me misses with a body shot
and Penn counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Lucky Me seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Penn avoids the body shot from Me.
A looping hook to the body misses from Me. Penn does a little dance to reset his feet.
Me uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Penn.
Penn ducks under a wild hook from Me.
Penn uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Me.
Me throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Me checks a low kick from Penn.
Me wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Me ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Penn moves away.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Penn takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Me thows a body shot but no joy.
Penn doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Me fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Penn is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Me cracks Penn with an uppercut from hell and Penn crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Me's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Oh Penn is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Me slips nicely into half guard.
Me looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Me decides to stand and escape the position.
Penn seems to have got his legs back now.
Me thows a body shot but no joy.
Me tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Penn was well out of range. Poor timing from Me.
Penn avoids the body shot from Me.
Me takes a swing at Penn's ribcage but misses.
Me scores with a hook to the body. Penn takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Me lands a jab to the head.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Me steps into range and cracks Penn with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Penn flops backwards and Me dives into his guard looking to finish!
Me controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Me gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Penn with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Me to score with a decent uppercut.
Me connects with a body shot that sends Penn's belly button to the back.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Penn takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Me throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Me has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Penn throws a lazy uppercut

and Me counters with a right hand that sends Penn tumbling to the canvas! Can Me finish him? He dives into Penn's guard looking to do just that!
Me slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Lucky Me wasn't active enough on the ground.
Me lands a nice shot to the body.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Me fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Me drops Penn with a big left hand and mounts him. Penn is in big trouble!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lucky Me showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Me has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Me lands a nice shot to the body.

Penn takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Me throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Me stuns Penn with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Me takes a swing at Penn's ribcage but misses.
Penn gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Me fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Penn manages to avoid it.
Penn takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Penn ducks straight into an uppercut from Me and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Penn manages to regain guard straight away.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Penn can't keep his opponent in guard - Me advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Me frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Penn's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Me sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Bj Penn has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Me is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!

And that's the end of the fight!
Lucky Me comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Me has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
