Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson rushes Ellison and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Johnson digs a right hand underneath Ellison's ribcage. Ellison let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Ellison goes for a takedown attempt but Johnson pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Johnson closes the distance and clinches.
Johnson lands a hook that snaps the head of Ellison backwards.
Johnson keeps control of Ellison as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Johnson stalls.
Ellison manages to break the clinch.
Ellison avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Johnson could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Ellison throws a right hand that Johnson ducks under and follows up with a left that Johnson also avoids with ease.
Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ellison paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Ellison misses with a takedown attempt - Johnson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Lemar Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marques Ellison.
Ellison has Johnson pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Johnson manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Johnson goes for a takedown in the clinch but Ellison prevents it.
Johnson gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Johnson will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Ellison up against the cage.
Johnson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Johnson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ellison, pushing him back against the cage.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Johnson.
Johnson lands a left hand that snaps the head of Ellison backwards.
Ellison is trying to break free.
Johnson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Johnson lands with a hook. Ellison tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Johnson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Johnson throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Ellison wants to get back to full guard.
Ellison wants to control but Johnson is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Ellison pushes Johnson off and gets back to his feet.

Johnson clobbers Ellison with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Ellison goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Ellison throws a half hearted mid kick.
Johnson paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Johnson closes the distance and clinches.
Johnson manages to break the clinch.
Johnson throws a head kick that misses.
Ellison swats away the attempt to clinch by Johnson.
Ellison has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Ellison there as he acknowledges the shot.

Ellison has Johnson pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Ellison pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Johnson tumbling to the mat - Ellison dives into Johnson's guard.
Ellison looking to sit in guard and control but Johnson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Johnson stands up from Ellison's guard - Johnson perhaps looking for a knockout.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Johnson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch but Ellison swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lemar Johnson dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Johnson darts in and clinches Ellison up against the cage.
Johnson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Johnson keeps the fight on the outside.
Ellison misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Johnson wants to clinch.

and Ellison counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Johnson's guard now.
Johnson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ellison's guard.
Ellison is working an open guard so Johnson takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Lemar Johnson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Ellison drops Johnson with a beautiful combination! Johnson stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Ellison is looking for the KO!
Johnson is rocked!

and Ellison takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
