Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tom Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Freezer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryan comes into the arena with Simple Man blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice inside leg kick there by Freezer. That's going to slow Ryan down.
Ryan slips a jab and a cross from Freezer.
A head kick from Freezer lands but Ryan takes it in his stride.

Ryan moves into range and clinches up with Freezer.

Freezer has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Ryan is proving hard to escape from.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Freezer lands with a thumping leg kick.
Freezer feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Ryans jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Ryan circles away from the clinch attempt.
Ryan shoots in looking for a takedown. Freezer tries to sprawl out of it but Ryan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Freezer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Ryan manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Freezer manages to get himself to full guard.
Freezer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ryan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Ryan escapes and gets back to his feet.

That was a close round but I would say that Tom Ryan will probably get the nod.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Tom Ryan.
