Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Everett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Cardoso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. Chris Cardoso has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Ryan Everett's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Everett tries to clinch up.

Cardoso throws a nice looking combination but Everett bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Everett shoots in looking for a takedown. Cardoso tries to sprawl out of it but Everett keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cardoso manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Everett tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cardoso paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Everett forces Cardoso back against the cage and clinches.
Cardoso wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Everett shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Cardoso pinned against the cage. Cardoso gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

and Everett counters with a nice low kick that buckles Cardoso's knee momentarily.
