Brett Rogers could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to John Couture's chin.

It looks like John Couture has been cut.

Rogers dips to his left and cracks Couture with an uppercut!
Rogers wants to clinch.
Rogers drops Couture with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Couture looks back up at him and smiles so Rogers waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rogers cracks Couture on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Couture falls backwards against the cage. Rogers follows up with more strikes that drop Couture to his knees. Rogers keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Couture! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brett Rogers!
As Brett Rogers got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: id like to thank my right hand, my left hand, my right leg, my left leg and ofcourse Al Aziz face for being nice enough to give me a place to put them'.
