Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Blade Toorop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Shamrock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Toorop comes to the cage accompanied by Rasputin. Shamrock is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Enter Sandman. Brock Shamrock has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Bruno Hogan and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toorop takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Shamrock misses with a combination
and Toorop counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Toorop.
Toorop might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Toorop has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Toorop drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Toorop jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Shamrock is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Toorop slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Toorop throws an elbow that misses. Shamrock uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Toorop's guard. Nice move by Shamrock!

Toorop is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Shamrock has his hands clasped together but Toorop extends an breaks Shamrock's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Toorop.

After winning the bout, Blade Toorop thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
