Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Stefano Spinelli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Di Mario (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spinelli's entrance music is Limp Bizkit - My Way. A fine choice. Mario is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Lose Yourself. Di Mario looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Stefano Spinelli! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Di Mario! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Igor Prikhodko and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spinelli fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Mario looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Spinelli moves into the clinch successfully.
Spinelli escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Spinelli throws a series of punches but Mario moves out of range. Spinelli feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Spinelli sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Mario's guard. Spinelli has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Spinelli controlling from the full mount. Spinelli punching from mount but Mario doing a good job of avoiding damage. Spinelli tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Spinelli postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Mario looks a forlorn figure.
Spinelli is working for a guillotine from mount but Mario frees his head quite easily.
Spinelli controlling the pace for now. Mario keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Spinelli tries to control but Mario wriggling away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Spinelli controlling the pace for now. Spinelli is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Mario can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Spinelli looking to control and managing it successfully. Spinelli swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Mario is now in Spinelli's guard. A big mistake from Spinelli there, giving up the dominant position! A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Spinelli holds on and takes a little breather.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Stefano Spinelli just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Spinelli misses with a series of wild punches.
Mario is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Spinelli throws a series of strikes that have Mario backpedaling.
Spinelli gets the takedown into side control. Mario wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land. Spinelli works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Spinelli moves into full mount! Mario is trying to escape the mount.
Mario wants to hold on but Spinelli pushes him away. Mario working to try and regain half guard.
Mario is bucking up trying to escape but Spinelli cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Spinelli with shots to the head and body - Mario looks very uncomfortable down there. Mario tries to lock up and control but Spinelli gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Spinelli looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Mario wants to control but Spinelli is having none of it. Spinelli has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Spinelli controlling his opponent. Mario tries to lock up and control but Spinelli gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stefano Spinelli dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Spinelli tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mario swats him away and circles back towards the center. Spinelli closes the distance and lands a one-two.
It looks like Di Mario has been cut. Spinelli fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Spinelli rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mario moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Spinelli tries a head kick but it misses.
Spinelli lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Spinelli bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Mario is looking for a sweep. You can see the frustration on Mario's face as Spinelli controls the position. Mario is trying to improve his position. Spinelli has an Americana. Mario didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Spinelli is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Spinelli hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
