The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baba with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Fausu to score with a decent uppercut.
Fausu blocks the body kick.
Baba throws a leg kick that is checked
and Fausu counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Nice defenses there by Baba.
Fausu throws out a loose jab but Baba uses good head movement to avoid it.
Fausu scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Fausu scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Fausu fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Baba manages to avoid it.
Fausu misses the shot to the body.
Fausu misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Baba.
Baba throws out a leg kick but Fausu moves out of range and Baba only half commits.
Baba scores with a decent looking hook.
Baba is looking to chop away at Fausu's legs.
Fausu tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Baba was well out of range. Poor timing from Fausu.
Fausu scores with a jab to the body.
Fausu throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Baba stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Baba tries to score with a low kick but Fausu moves his leg out of the way.
Baba misses with a head kick.
Fausu is looking to wear down Baba with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Baba avoids the body shot from Fausu.
Fausu throws a lazy head kick
and Baba counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Tommy Fausu has been cut.
Tommy Fausu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fausu misses the shot to the body.
Baba explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Baba throws a sloppy head kick
and Fausu counters with a left to the body.
Baba cracks the inside of Fausu's front leg.
Fausu could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Fausu is breathing heavily.

Baba looks to throw a body kick
and Fausu makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Baba uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Fausu.
Fausu swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Fausu throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A nice inside leg kick there by Baba. That's going to slow Fausu down.
Baba takes a swing at Fausu's ribcage but misses.

Baba closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Baba misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Baba lands a brutal head kick. Fausu looks out on his feet and Baba throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
