Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zephod Beeblebrox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Baba Yagana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beeblebrox lands a nice looking body shot.
Yagana stuffs the takedown attempt from Beeblebrox. Beeblebrox gets slowly back to his feet.
Beeblebrox tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Yagana swivels and escapes.
Nice sprawl there from Yagana as Beeblebrox shoots in.

Beeblebrox drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Beeblebrox jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Yagana is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Yagana and Beeblebrox has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Beeblebrox could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Beeblebrox looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Yagana keeps control of the position for the meantime.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Yagana has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Beeblebrox is working away from the top position though.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Yagana can do anything to dispel that myth.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Yagana is trying to maintain the position but Beeblebrox is very close to passing his half guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Beeblebrox drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Beeblebrox jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Beeblebrox is pushing down on Yagana's leg trying to pass to half guard. Yagana is fighting to maintain full guard but Beeblebrox has managed to sneak the leg through.
Yagana wants to improve his position but Beeblebrox is controlling well.
Yagana has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Beeblebrox is working away from the top position though.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

and Yagana counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Beeblebrox is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Beeblebrox passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Yagana!
Yagana stops Beeblebrox from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
Yagana is wriggling around trying to escape.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Yagana working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Beeblebrox tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Yagana wants to get up but he can't break Beeblebrox's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Yagana tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Yagana connects with a nice short shot to Beeblebrox's temple.
Yagana takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Beeblebrox is not content to let Yagana control the position.
Beeblebrox wants to get back to full guard.
Yagana is taking a breather. Beeblebrox says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Beeblebrox might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
