The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wachooski tries for a takedown but One sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
One keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Wachooski shoots in for a takedown but One shows good takedown defense.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Larry Wachooski. That's going to take a lot out of him.
One shoots in looking for a takedown. Wachooski tries to sprawl out of it but One keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wachooski manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
One bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
One drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and One jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

and One decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Wachooski's guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
One shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wachooski as he avoids it easily.

and One counters with a body kick that stops Wachooski in his tracks momentarily.

and One counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by One.
Wachooski on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Wachooski tries to get out of the position.
One thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

and One counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Wachooski!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Wachooski tries to control One's body but One pushes him off. Wachooski squirms to his side and now One has his back!

One is hanging on to Wachooski's back as he tries to escape.
One has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Wachooski! Can he survive? No! He's out! One gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
