Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Floyd Maydugo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henri Hasu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maydugo comes to the cage accompanied by Calogero / Passi - Face ŕ la mer . Floyd Maydugo is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Floyd Maydugo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Henri Hasu! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Vladimir Khabensky and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maydugo gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily enabling Hasu to counter with a crisp jab. Hasu misses with an uppercut. Maydugo saw that one coming. Hasu tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Maydugo was well out of range. Poor timing from Hasu. Maydugo moves out of range of the strikes. Hasu is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Maydugo slips under a jab from Hasu. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
That's one minute gone in the round. Some wild striking there from Hasu.
Hasu jabbing away but nothing is landing. Hasu lands a nice shot to the body.
Maydugo displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hasu throws out the jab. Hasu ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Maydugo moves away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hasu looks to land a left hand but Maydugo moved out of range nicely. Hasu thows a body shot but no joy. Left hook, right uppercut from Hasu. Hasu misses with an uppercut. Maydugo shoots in for a takedown but Hasu shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hasu misses the shot to the body. Hasu swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Maydugo's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Maydugo duly obliges. Hasu swings for the body but Maydugo moves out of range.
Hasu misses with a straight right. Hasu throws a hook but Maydugo avoids it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hasu stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hasu wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Floyd Maydugo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hasu scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Maydugo doesn't seem bothered though. Maydugo displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hasu throws out the jab. Maydugo uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hasu. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hasu misses with a hook. Hasu lands a nice hook to Maydugo's body. Maydugo takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Henri Hasu dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Maydugo thows a body shot but no joy. Maydugo fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. The fighters circling - Hasu throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Hasu misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Maydugo.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Maydugo fails with the takedown and Hasu counters with a nice uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Maydugo. Hasu misses the jab. Henri Hasu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hasu looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Hasu throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Maydugo sees it coming and avoids it easily. Henri Hasu is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Maydugo shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Hasu counters with a straight right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Floyd Maydugo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hasu listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Maydugo on the wrong end of a nice jab. Maydugo has a takedown stuffed. Hasu uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Maydugo with a lazy takedown attempt and Hasu makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Hasu misses the body punch and Maydugo counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Hasu misses with a hook
and Maydugo counters with a takedown into side control. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Maydugo is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Hasu has escaped the position, nice work there. Hasu is looking for a sweep.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hasu is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Maydugo seems to be working for a kimura but Hasu defends the submission attempt. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Maydugo wants to work for an arm triangle but Hasu is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Hasu won't allow Maydugo to pass to mount. Hasu is looking to control Maydugo's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Hasu avoid being mounted? The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Maydugo is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Hasu sees it coming and defends easily. Maydugo looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Henri Hasu will probably get the nod - 10:9. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Maydugo takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

and Maydugo counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Maydugo trying to pass the guard but Hasu defending well. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Maydugo is looking for a kimura but Hasu is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Maydugo to get the leverage. Maydugo is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hasu doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Maydugo. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Maydugo is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Hasu is defending against the submission attempts here by Maydugo.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Maydugo is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Hasu sees it coming and defends easily. Floyd Maydugo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Hasu trying to control but Maydugo postures up.
Hasu gets full guard. Hasu really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Maydugo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Maydugo is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Maydugo thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Hasu pulls Maydugo in close to his closed guard and prevents Maydugo from doing any damage or advancing position. Maydugo working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Maydugo drops back looking for a leg! Hasu is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hasu manages to kick Maydugo off! Maydugo jumps back into Hasu's guard. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Maydugo passes Hasu's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Floyd Maydugo. I think Hasu has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
