Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gavriil Barcamonte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jakub Madej (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Madej has chosen Skrillex - First Of The Year as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Gavriil Barcamonte! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jakub Madej! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Ivan Kurochkin and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Madej scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Madej fails in his attempt to clinch. Barcamonte swats away the attempt to clinch by Madej. Madej thows a body shot but no joy. Madej tries to close the distance and clinch up but Barcamonte swats him away and circles back towards the center. Madej gets a clinch. Barcamonte breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Madej wants to clinch. Madej shoots in looking for a takedown. Barcamonte tries to sprawl out of it but Madej keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Barcamonte manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Madej tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Barcamonte swivels and escapes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Madej is looking to clinch. Barcamonte closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Madej quickly recovers to half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Madej looks like he's trying to stand up.
Madej is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Barcamonte trying to control from half guard but Madej is working away. Madej is looking to escape. Barcamonte looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Madej is pressing down on Barcamonte's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Barcamonte sitting in guard here, content to control. Barcamonte throwing strikes but missing. Barcamonte thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Barcamonte might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Barcamonte lands a couple of decent looking shots. Barcamonte's corner is telling him to maintain position. Madej preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Barcamonte has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Barcamonte stays in close to Madej's body and controls the position. Barcamonte won't allow Madej to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Barcamonte postures up in Madej's guard and throws a big left but Madej blocks it. Barcamonte wants to control from the top but Madej keeps moving. Barcamonte stops Madej from standing up. Madej looking for a sweep. Not yet Madej, not yet. Madej looks gassed! Barcamonte looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Madej throws a leg kick and Barcamonte counters with a left and a right that stings Madej. Madej fails with an attempt to clinch.
Barcamonte closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Madej pushes Barcamonte off but Barcamonte dives into side control.
Madej really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Barcamonte. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Barcamonte tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Barcamonte has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Barcamonte looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Barcamonte looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Barcamonte avoids the strikes from the bottom by Madej. Madej is trying to get back to his feet. Barcamonte is working to tighten is grip on Madej's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Madej has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Barcamonte is really squeezing tight and eventually Madej passes out! Barcamonte breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
