Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between From Pride (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vyacheslav Yakupov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pride has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Vyacheslav Yakupov has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with From Pride's chin.

The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Viktor Lagutenko and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yakupov closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Yakupov lands in his opponent's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Yakupov controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Yakupov drops back looking for a leg! Pride is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Pride manages to kick Yakupov off! Yakupov jumps back into Pride's guard.

Pride is in all sorts of trouble here.

Pride is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Yakupov has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Pride's face.
Yakupov looking for a guillotine from mount but Pride is having none of it.

Yakupov is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Pride is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Pride flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Yakupov anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Pride and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Yakupov slips an arm under Pride chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Yakupov has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Yakupov is squeezing on Pride like an anaconda would it's prey. Pride fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Vyacheslav Yakupov!
