Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Carthew (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Duggan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carthew comes to the cage accompanied by Straight out of Compton. Duggan has chosen Pantera -Slaughtered as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bobby Carthew! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jim Duggan! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Nard Betker and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carthew is looking to clinch but Duggan is avoiding it.
Carthew will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Duggan has a takedown stuffed. Duggan closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Duggan lands in his opponent's guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Carthew wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Duggan wants to pass the guard but Carthew is keeping the position. Duggan drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Duggan jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Duggan wants to control from the top but Carthew keeps moving. Duggan looking to pass the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duggan lands a couple of decent looking shots. Duggan wants to control from the top but Carthew keeps moving. Duggan sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Carthew's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Carthew is breathing heavily. Carthew wants to get back to full guard. Duggan is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Carthew doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Duggan. Duggan is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Carthew sees it coming and defends easily. Carthew is trying to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Duggan controlling the action here. Duggan is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Carthew defends it well. Duggan wants to take a breather but Carthew is having none of it. This has been an exciting period of action! The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Duggan trying to pass the guard but Carthew defending well. Carthew is not content to let Duggan control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Duggan is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Carthew sees it coming and defends easily. Carthew is trying to get back to full guard. Duggan throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Duggan seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Carthew does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Duggan missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Duggan is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Carthew is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
