The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bugz misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Puffer displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bugz throws out the jab.

Puffer wants to get back to his feet but Bugz is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Puffer dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Bugz. That did some damage!
Bugz throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Puffer's waist but Puffer gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bugz off to one side.
Bugz shoots in and drives through. Puffer sprawls well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Puffer lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Puffer lands a nice leg kick that just misses Bugz's sensitive parts.
Bugz changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Puffer tries to avoid it but Bugz manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Puffer to the ground. Puffer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Puffer thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Bugz if he has to take too many more of those.
Bugz tries to close the distance and clinch up but Puffer swats him away and circles back towards the center.
