The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
von Lichtenheim tries to clinch
and Cisterna decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in von Lichtenheim's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
von Lichtenheim has his foot on Cisterna's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Cisterna works his way back into a safe position though.
von Lichtenheim will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
von Lichtenheim will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Cisterna wants to control from the top but von Lichtenheim keeps moving.

Cisterna jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but von Lichtenheim manages to avoid the submission attempt.
von Lichtenheim is not content to let Cisterna control the position.

von Lichtenheim wants to control but Cisterna is having none of it.

It looks like Klaus von Lichtenheim has been cut.
von Lichtenheim is wriggling around trying to escape.
von Lichtenheim takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Cisterna's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.

A relieved looking Ryan Cisterna thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
