Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Beluga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antony Poddychi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Beluga! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Antony Poddychi! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Illya Tyunina and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beluga slaps away a takedown attempt from Poddychi, before circling back to the center of the mat. Beluga lands a glancing blow to the side of Poddychi's head. Beluga throws a push kick but Poddychi slaps the foot to one side. Beluga shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Poddychi trying to keep a closed guard but Beluga is proving a slippery customer.
Beluga postures up in Poddychi's guard and throws a big left but Poddychi blocks it. Beluga with a flurry of punches that miss. Poddychi is looking for a triangle but Beluga pushes his legs off easily.
Beluga is looking to work some ground and pound but Poddychi has wrist control. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Poddychi can do anything to dispel that myth. Beluga working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Beluga knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Poddychi on the ground. Poddychi looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Poddychi wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Beluga throws a strike but Poddychi rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Beluga had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Poddychi defends it easily. Beluga is trying to keep Poddychi in close.
Poddychi trying to control the position from guard on top but Beluga is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Beluga wants to sweep here but Poddychi controlling him for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Poddychi sitting in guard here, content to control. Beluga is looking for a triangle but Poddychi pushes his legs off easily.
Poddychi passes easily into side control. Nice work. Beluga struggling a bit here. Poddychi is staying tight to Beluga's torso, preventing him from escaping. Beluga is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Poddychi is controlling him well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Beluga's face as Poddychi controls the position. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Beluga struggling a bit here. Poddychi staying calm.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Antony Poddychi was stalling too much, according to the referee. Beluga connects with a right hand. Poddychi shakes it off.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Beluga throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Beluga falls off balance throwing a combination
and Poddychi counters with a lovely shot to the body. A head kick misses from Beluga. Beluga is breathing heavily. Beluga tries to clinch up but Poddychi circles away and keeps his distance. Beluga shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Beluga clinches up with Poddychi and pushes him back against the cage. Beluga throws an elbow but it misses.
Poddychi ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Poddychi no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Poddychi wants to sweep here but Beluga controlling him for the moment. Poddychi has control of Beluga's left arm, preventing Beluga from doing any damage. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Beluga missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Ivan Beluga will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Poddychi avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Beluga rushes Poddychi and presses him up against the cage. Poddychi breaks the clinch.
Beluga gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Poddychi to score an easy takedown into full guard. Poddychi engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Beluga tries to land a sweep but no joy. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Antony Poddychi hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Poddychi throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Beluga tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Poddychi is in Beluga's guard. Beluga is looking to stand up but Poddychi isn't so interested in that idea. Poddychi content to stall in guard here. Poddychi loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Beluga looking to hit a scissor sweep but Poddychi is one step ahead there. Poddychi tries to free his leg and advance position but Beluga is retaining full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Beluga wants to control the position but Poddychi says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Poddychi throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Beluga is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Poddychi with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Poddychi is trying to control the action in half guard but Beluga is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Poddychi throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Poddychi is figuring out what he wants to do next. This has been an exciting period of action!
The ref stands the fighters back up. Antony Poddychi was stalling too much, according to the referee. Beluga fails to land with a series of punches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Beluga circles away from the clinch attempt.
Beluga throws a nice looking combination but Poddychi bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Beluga fails in his attempt to clinch. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Beluga throws a right hand that Poddychi ducks under and follows up with a left that Poddychi also avoids with ease. Poddychi is looking to clinch. Beluga forces Poddychi back against the cage and clinches. Poddychi's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Ivan Beluga seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Beluga defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Poddychi. Poddychi keeps the fight on the outside. Beluga rushes Poddychi and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Poddychi breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Beluga rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Poddychi moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Beluga fails with an attempt to clinch.

Poddychi fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Beluga avoids it really well and circles away. Beluga gets the takedown into side control. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Poddychi is looking for a sweep. Beluga looks up at the clock and then as Poddychi takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Beluga smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Poddychi is trying to improve his position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Beluga tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Beluga wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Poddychi, who protects the arm well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Antony Poddychi will probably get the nod - 10:9. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Beluga lands a body shot.
Poddychi misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Poddychi lands a really nice looking cross but Beluga seems unphased.
Beluga drives through with a takedown into Poddychi's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Poddychi looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Beluga got a little sloppy there for a moment and Poddychi has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Beluga has managed to get both his arms back between Poddychi's legs - danger averted. Beluga trying to control the position from guard on top but Poddychi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Antony Poddychi has got the better of the ground game so far. Beluga stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Poddychi swivels though and keeps the full guard. Poddychi takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Beluga trying to control but Poddychi is working from the bottom. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Ivan Beluga has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Beluga throws a one two combo.
Poddychi gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Beluga. Beluga tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Poddychi paws at him with a jab and circles away. Beluga misses with a series of wild punches.
Beluga throws a right and a left that Poddychi avoids nicely. Beluga tries to clinch up but Poddychi circles away and keeps his distance. Beluga lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Beluga. Poddychi fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Beluga gets a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Beluga escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Beluga shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Poddychi's guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Poddychi keeping moving, preventing Beluga from controlling successfully. Poddychi looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Beluga passes into half guard. Beluga wants to get back to his feet.
Beluga throwing shots but Poddychi is blocking nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Poddychi has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Beluga is working away from the top position though. Poddychi slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Poddychi can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Beluga controls the pace. Beluga postures up.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Antony Poddychi. Beluga lands a jab-cross combination. Beluga lands with a shot to the body. Beluga has taken the fight to the clinch.
Beluga pulls guard effortlessly. Poddychi pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Beluga is keeping the position for now. Poddychi being controlled here momentarily. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Beluga is looking to stand up but Poddychi isn't so interested in that idea.
And that's the end of the fight! Ivan Beluga showed his dominance in that final round. I think Beluga has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
