Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Luke Simo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ukyo Sato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Simo comes into the arena with Lonnie G - Ledge blaring out of the sound system. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ukyo Sato!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Ren Mimura and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simo steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Sato.
Sato scores with a punch to the head.
Simo sizes up Sato with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Sato misses the shot to the body.
Sato throws a right and a left that both miss.
Sato throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Simo throws a hook but Sato blocks it.
Simo ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Simo cracks Sato with an open hand slap.
A decent looking cross lands there for Simo.
Sato dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Simo. That did some damage!
Ukyo Sato seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Simo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sato.
Sato throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Sato uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Simo.
Simo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Simo throws a lazy right hand but Sato sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sato pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Sato takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Sato finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
A punch lands to the side of Sato 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Sato throws a lazy right hand but Simo sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Good standup being displayed there by Sato as he connects with a hook.
Simo is rocked!
Sato is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Oh Simo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Sato loads up on a big right hand but Simo slips the punch.
Sato ducks under a wild hook from Simo.
Simo is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Sato cracks Simo with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Simo looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Sato finish him?
Simo throws a half hearted mid kick.

Sato throws an overhand right that drops Simo like a sack of potatoes! Sato dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
