Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Donovan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Solomon Gunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donovan misses with a wild body shot.
Donovan lands a slapping body shot.
Donovan connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Gunn's hands.
It looks like Solomon Gunn has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Donovan misses with a left hand
and Gunn counters with an outside leg kick.
Donovan throws a right and a left that both miss.
Donovan swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Gunn.
Gunn slips a jab and a cross from Donovan.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gunn takes a swing at Donovan's ribcage but misses.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Gunn, right into the meat.
Donovan scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

A nice inside leg kick there by Gunn. That's going to slow Donovan down.
A looping hook to the body misses from Gunn. Donovan does a little dance to reset his feet.
Gunn cracks Donovan with a good jab.
Donovan tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gunn was well out of range. Poor timing from Donovan.
Gunn connects with a looping right hand.
Jacob Donovan's cut is getting worse.
Gunn uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Donovan has time to react.
Good leg kick by Gunn there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Gunn lands a high kick!
Donovan is rocked!

Gunn scores with a kick to the midsection.
Oh Donovan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Donovan is breathing heavily.
Donovan walks straight into a right hand from Gunn - that's dropped him! Gunn jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Donovan from any more punishment! Donovan complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Solomon Gunn!
