Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dane Cook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Beauvais (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cook comes to the cage accompanied by Lifeless by 12 Stones. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dane Cook!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Scott Beauvais!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cook missing with a left hand there. Beauvais was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Cook rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Beauvais moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Cook stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Cook wants it to stay on the feet.
Beauvais tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cook paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Cook misses with a few strikes there.

and Beauvais counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Cook working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Beauvais is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Cook has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Beauvais taps out!
