Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Mir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Z Mann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Mann's choice of entrance music: Birdland. Z Mann has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mir tries for a takedown but Mann sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Mann missing with a left hand there. Mir was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Mir ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Mir takes the fight into the clinch.
Mann is looking to break free of the clinch but Mir has double underhooks.
Mir is looking to take this one to the mat.

Mir manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Mann manages to get himself to full guard.

and Mann counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Mann closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Mir's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mann is working for a kimura but Mir is defending it quite comfortably.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Mir drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Mann connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Mir tries a head kick but it misses.
Mann drops Mir with a big left hand and mounts him. Mir is in big trouble!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mann postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Mir out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Mann goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
