The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomes misses with a low kick as Filipovic jumps back.

Gomes lands a big head kick that sends Filipovic tumbling to the mat! Gomes takes a step backwards and waves Filipovic back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Filipovic tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Filipovic blocks a head kick by Gomes.
Gomes throws a sloppy head kick and Filipovic moves out of range easily.

Gomes swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Filipovic counters with a head kick.
Filipovic pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Gomes back to the cage. Filipovic follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Filipovic lands with a thumping leg kick.
Gomes looks gassed!

A head kick lands from Filipovic that sends Gomes to the canvas. Gomes tries to scramble back to his feet but Filipovic brings him back down into side control.

Gomes is rocked!

It looks like Arthur Gomes has been cut.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Filipovic decides to stand back up.
Gomes is still on wobbly legs! Can Filipovic finish him?
Filipovic will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Filipovic closes the distance looking for a takedown. Filipovic picks Gomes up and slams him brutally to the floor. Gomes is out! He's out cold! Wow, you don't see a finish like that every day!
