Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jay Fatts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roger Kint (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fatts's entrance music is Hit Em Up by Tupac. A fine choice. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jay Fatts!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roger Kint!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fatts looks to land a left hand but Kint moved out of range nicely.

Kint has managed to clinch.

Fatts gets control of Kint's arms and successfully pulls guard. Fatts will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Kint is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Fatts is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Fatts has escaped and now he's on top!
Fatts won't allow Kint to get back to his feet.
Fatts throwing strikes but missing.
Fatts trying to control but Kint is working from the bottom.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fatts accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Fatts is looking to work some ground and pound but Kint has wrist control.

Fatts trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Fatts working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Kint wants to sweep but no luck.
Fatts trying to control but Kint is working from the bottom.
Fatts throws an elbow that misses. Kint uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Fatts's guard. Nice move by Kint!

Kint is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Kint moves into full mount! Fatts won't be happy about that!

Fatts wants to hold on but Kint pushes him away.

Kint goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Fatts turns into him and now he's in Kint's guard.

Kint is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Fatts throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kint works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fatts postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Kint working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Fatts.
Fatts loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Kint has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Fatts has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Fatts postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Fatts's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Kint darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Kint is working for a submission of some sort.
Kint wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fatts keeps working.
Fatts tries to roll over but Kint keeps him under control.
Kint controlling the action here.

Kint is looking to advance position but Fatts won't allow it.
Kint is taking a breather. Fatts says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Kint working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Fatts's thigh. Fatts counters though and makes it back to full guard.
Fatts wants to hit a switch here but Kint passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Fatts there!

Kint trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Kint wants to control the action but instead Fatts gets a body lock and reverses into Kint's guard! Nice work!
Kint manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Kint is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Fatts has managed to escape the submission attempt.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Fatts is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Fatts is working to get back to half guard.

Kint goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Fatts is on top in guard.
Jay Fatts overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Fatts throws a big right hand that misses.

Fatts throws an elbow that misses. Kint uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Fatts's guard. Nice move by Kint!
Fatts is trying to keep Kint in close.
Kint slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Kint has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Fatts!

Kint goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Fatts turns into him and now he's in Kint's guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Roger Kint showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.



Kint drives through and clinches with Fatts against the cage.
Fatts tries to score a body lock takedown but Kint shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Fatts jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kint walks away with a smile on his face. Fatts gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Kint shoots in looking for a takedown. Fatts tries to sprawl out of it but Kint keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fatts manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Fatts just misses with a punch to the body.
Kint shoots for a double leg takedown but Fatts sprawls well. He's pushed Kint's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Kint throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Fatts lands a lovely overhand right.
Nice shot lands for Fatts.

Fatts manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Kint on his heels. He'll look to pass Kint's guard now, I'm sure.

Kint wants to sweep but no luck.
Kint avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Kint has his hands on Fatts's head, controlling the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Roger Kint.

Fatts tries to sprawl but Kint drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Fatts is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Kint jumps into side control!

Kint is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Fatts is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Kint has knee on belly momentarily but Fatts bucks him off and regains half guard.
Fatts has a hand on Kint's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Kint takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Fatts keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Kint jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Fatts is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Fatts and Kint has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Fatts is not content to let Kint control the position.
Kint has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Kint moves to the back position.

Kint is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Kint is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Fatts knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Fatts for a finish.

Kint has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Fatts has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kint doesn't have the hooks in and Fatts manages to turn into his guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Roger Kint comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Kint has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
