Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fuller Masterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Tyler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jake Tyler is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyler doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Masterson counters by moving into the clinch.
Tyler looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Masterson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Masterson closes the distance and clinches.
Masterson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Tyler blocks a head kick by Masterson.
Masterson drives through and clinches with Tyler against the cage.
Masterson is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Masterson stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Masterson gets control of Tyler's arms and successfully pulls guard. Masterson will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Masterson is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Masterson's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Masterson has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Tyler has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
A short body shot lands from Masterson as the two fighters clinch.
Masterson pulls guard.
Masterson is looking to sinch up a triangle. Tyler throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Masterson's body to avoid the submission. Masterson has instead reached around Tyler's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Masterson arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
