Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between David Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Sure (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jeff Sure told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, David Walker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jeff Sure!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Glass and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walker throws a lazy head kick

and Sure moves into the clinch.

Sure manages to break the clinch.
Walker misses with a two punch combination.
Sure fails with a takedown attempt.
Sure shoots in for a double leg but Walker sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Walker misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Sure clinches up with Walker and pushes him back against the cage.
Walker gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Sure.

David Walker is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Sure tries to score a power double leg takedown but Walker sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sure somewhat.

Sure fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sure is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Horrible takedown by Sure or perhaps it was just good defense by Walker which made him look bad.

Sure throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Walker's waist but Walker gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sure off to one side.

Walker lands a head kick. Sure smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Sure is trying to drag Walker to the mat but Walker just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Walker wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Sure has Walker pressed against the cage, preventing Walker from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Walker wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Sure jumps guard but Walker turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

I would just about give that final round to Jeff Sure.
