Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Miguel Salazar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bakow Boran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boran has chosen khmer national anthem as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Miguel Salazar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bakow Boran! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boran throws a nice head kick!
Boran with a nice cross. Salazar closes the distance and clinches up with Boran, looking for a takedown. Salazar pushes Boran against the cage but Boran circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Salazar fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Boran avoids it really well and circles away. Salazar fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Miguel Salazar. That's going to take a lot out of him. Salazar throws a body punch but Boran moves out of range. Boran scores with a head kick. Salazar tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Boran darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Salazar throws a body punch but Boran moves out of range. Salazar takes one to the side of the head.
Boran moves out of range as Salazar strikes. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Boran uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Salazar. Boran tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Boran scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Boran lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. A cross from Salazar lands.
That's one minute gone in the round. No luck with that takedown attempt from Boran. Salazar checks a leg kick. Salazar tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Miguel Salazar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Salazar lands a nice shot to the body.
Salazar throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Boran misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Salazar.
Salazar throws a hook but Boran avoids it easily. Salazar throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Boran tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Salazar was well out of range. Poor timing from Boran. Salazar misses with a lunging right hand
and Boran counters with a head kick. Salazar waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Boran. Salazar just misses with a punch to the body.
Salazar moves out of range as Boran throws a body kick.
Boran avoids the body shot from Salazar.
Boran fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Salazar. Salazar's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Boran connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Salazar scrambles back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Salazar takes a swing at Boran's ribcage but misses. A solid leg kick lands there for Boran.
Salazar looks to throw the jab but Boran is out of range. Boran lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Boran ducks under a wild hook from Salazar. Boran misses with a body shot.
Boran scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Boran not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Salazar is looking for a sweep. Boran is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Boran connects with a nice short shot to Salazar's temple. Salazar is holding on to half guard well. Salazar is looking to control Boran's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Salazar avoid being mounted? Salazar flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Boran seems to be looking for submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boran thows a huge punch but Salazar dodges it nicely.
Boran really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Salazar. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Salazar looking for submissions off his back. Salazar wants to control but Boran is keeping busy.
Boran seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Boran is working for a submission of some sort.
Boran trying to control the action but Salazar is working from the bottom. Boran lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Salazar looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Boran tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Boran is working for a kimura but Salazar is defending it quite comfortably.

The fighters are battling for position here. Salazar manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Salazar trying to keep a closed guard but Boran is proving a slippery customer.
Boran wants to control from the top but Salazar keeps moving. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Boran avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
This has been an exciting period of action! Salazar is looking to sinch up a triangle. Boran throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Salazar's body to avoid the submission. Salazar has instead reached around Boran's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Salazar arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
