Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Quinto Connor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Stevens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Quinto Connor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tommy Stevens!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Connor circles away from the clinch attempt.
Connor slaps away a takedown attempt from Stevens, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Stevens shoots for a takedown but Connor saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Connor leaves Stevens with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Quinto Connor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tommy Stevens.
Stevens throws a low kick but Connor moves out of range easily.
Stevens tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Stevens changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Connor tries to avoid it but Stevens manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Connor to the ground. Connor escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Stevens tries to score a power double leg takedown but Connor sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Stevens somewhat.
Connor throws a body punch but Stevens moves out of range.
Connor misses with a takedown attempt - Stevens sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Connor shoots in and bounces Stevens off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Connor decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Stevens, up you get!

Connor throws a nice looking combination but Stevens bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Connor tries to keep at a distance but Stevens has taken the fight into the clinch.

Connor is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Stevens tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Connor smiles and moves away.

Connor is working an open guard so Stevens takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Stevens closes the distance and clinches.
Stevens pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Stevens shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Connor but Connor pushes him off and we're back to square one.

and Connor counters with a nice double leg into side control. Stevens won't be happy with that.
Stevens manages to work his way to half guard, despite Connor's best efforts.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Connor wants to stand up but Stevens has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Stevens is trying to maintain the position but Connor is very close to passing his half guard.
Connor is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Stevens looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Connor wants to control but Stevens is keeping him busy.

Stevens will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Connor lands with a kick to the temple. Stevens shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Stevens is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Stevens drops down looking for an ankle pick but Connor pulls his leg out and moves away.
Connor moves in looking to clinch but Stevens pushes him off.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Stevens enables Connor to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Stevens manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Tommy Stevens comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Stevens has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
