Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Stevens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marc Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Garcia has chosen Fuel - Mettalica as his entrance music. Marc Garcia will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Marc Garcia! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stevens fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Garcia, pushing him back against the cage. Garcia gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Stevens.
Stevens breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Marc Garcia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stevens fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Garcia sprawls well initially but Stevens persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Stevens seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Stevens is looking for a kimura but Garcia is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Stevens to get the leverage. Garcia is in trouble now - Stevens has advanced to mount! Stevens really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Stevens postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Garcia looks a forlorn figure.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Stevens has hold of Garcia's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Garcia manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stevens takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Garcia looks gassed! Garcia is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. BOOM! Stevens connects with a massive shot to the dome!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stevens is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Garcia has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Garcia! Stevens trying to control the position here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stevens's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Stevens looking to control.
Stevens pushes Garcia off and gets back to his feet.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Garcia gets caught flat footed, as Stevens shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Stevens controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Stevens stands up from guard. Let's bang! Garcia gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stevens slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stevens stands up from guard. Let's bang! Garcia shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Stevens gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Stevens pulls guard. Stevens has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Garcia off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Stevens misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Stevens misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Stevens forces Garcia back against the cage and clinches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Stevens gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Stevens scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Stevens is controlling the pace.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Stevens escapes and gets back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tommy Stevens dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Stevens fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Stevens closes the distance and pushes Garcia back into the cage. Stevens blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Stevens escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Stevens throws a sloppy head kick and Garcia moves out of range easily. Stevens fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Garcia, pushing him back against the cage. Garcia is looking to control Stevens's arms but Stevens gets an underhook and turns him. Now Garcia has his back to the cage. Stevens drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Stevens decides to pull guard. Stevens had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Garcia defends it easily. Garcia avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Garcia is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stevens is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Garcia doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
A short right from Garcia on the inside. Stevens has Garcia pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Garcia manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tommy Stevens. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stevens manages to break the clinch.
Stevens shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Stevens controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
That's two minutes gone in the round. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Stevens content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Garcia wants to stand but Stevens is controlling the position. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Stevens's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Garcia really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stevens. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Stevens prevents Garcia from getting back to his feet. Stevens landing some decent shots from guard. Stevens showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stevens drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Stevens seems to have locked his on tight now - Garcia screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Stevens, as he picks up the win!
