Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Artem Lesenkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacques Affre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jacques Affre! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Aafke Stam and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lesenkov tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Affre swivels and escapes. Lesenkov throws a hook to the side of Affre's head but Affre sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Affre fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Affre slips a jab from Lesenkov. Affre throws a right hand that Lesenkov ducks under and follows up with a left that Lesenkov also avoids with ease. Nice body punch from Affre. Affre connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Lesenkov throws a jab when Affre was well out of range. Affre pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Lesenkov takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Artem Lesenkov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Affre feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Lesenkovs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! This has been an exciting period of action! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Affre uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Lesenkov. Affre uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lesenkov.

That was a close round but I would say that Artem Lesenkov will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lesenkov lands the left hand. Affre stuffs the takedown. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Affre takes a shot right to the bread basket. Affre is breathing heavily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A looping hook to the body misses from Affre. Lesenkov does a little dance to reset his feet. Lesenkov wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Affre has him pressed against the cage. Affre has Lesenkov pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Lesenkov manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Affre taking a breather. A frustrated look appears on Lesenkov's face as he tries to break the clinch. Affre works on Lesenkov's body with a couple of short punches. Affre is looking to take this one to the mat. Artem Lesenkov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jacques Affre. Lesenkov escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
