PBP Commentary |
Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Stockton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ameri CanChopper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). CanChopper comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Badass kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bruce Stockton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ameri CanChopper! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! CanChopper looks to land a left hand but Stockton moved out of range nicely. CanChopper lands a high kick!
CanChopper slips under a jab from Stockton. Bruce Stockton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stockton fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Stockton swinging wildly here.
CanChopper takes a swing at Stockton's ribcage but misses. A good leg kick by CanChopper. Stockton chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before CanChopper can pounce on him.
CanChopper throws a solid leg kick but Stockton takes the impact on his shin and smiles at CanChopper. Stockton circles away from the clinch attempt.
Stockton misses with a straight left. CanChopper keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Stockton. CanChopper lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Stockton is breathing heavily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! CanChopper looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
That's one minute gone in the round. CanChopper throws the kick towards the body but Stockton avoids it. Stockton throws an off balance right hand
and CanChopper counters with a flying knee. Nice. A combination from Stockton does no damage. CanChopper moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. CanChopper feints and then cracks Stockton's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Stockton down. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Stockton takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. CanChopper delivers a nice body kick. Stockton takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
CanChopper lands with a thumping leg kick.
CanChopper takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Stockton swats away the attempt to clinch by CanChopper. CanChopper throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. CanChopper feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Stockton's calf. CanChopper fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. CanChopper feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Stockton sprawling to the canvas! Stockton rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can CanChopper finish him?!
Stockton is rocked!
It looks like Bruce Stockton has been cut. Stockton on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Oh Stockton is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! CanChopper is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Stockton flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Stockton is out cold! CanChopper holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ameri CanChopper! Ameri CanChopper very nearly forgot to thank Rivers Edge Nutrition (Disciples of Pain) amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
