Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chew fails in his attempt to clinch. Corrales shoots in looking for a takedown. Chew tries to sprawl out of it but Corrales keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Chew manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. The fight stays on the outside here - Chew looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Chew moves out of range as Corrales throws a body kick.
Chew tries to clinch up. Chew fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Corrales, pushing him back against the cage. Corrales wants to break the clinch but can't.

Chew comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Corrales gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Corrales passes Chew's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Corrales throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Corrales has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Corrales is looking to take a break and control but Chew is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Chew looks like he's trying to stand up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Corrales looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Still in half guard, Corrales seems content to control. Corrales uses his free foot to push down on Chew's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Chew. Chew really wants to buck Corrales off and get back to his feet. Chew has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever. Chew has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Corrales looking to finish the fight with a rear naked choke. Chew is controlling Corrales 's left arm and he spins nicely into guard. Corrales is breathing heavily. Corrales is pulling down on Chew's head. It's preventing any offense from Chew, at least for the moment. Chew gets to his feet. Corrales looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Ah Chew seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Corrales takes an elbow to the forehead. Chew unloads a knee to the mid-section. Corrales lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Chew lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Chew with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Corrales has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Chew regains guard immediately. Corrales slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Corrales trying to control the position from guard on top but Chew is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Ah Chew will probably get the nod. That's time! Corrales's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Corrales keeps the fight on the outside. Chew tries to close the distance and clinch but Corrales swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Chew tries to clinch but Corrales moves out of range. Chew fails with an attempt to clinch.

Corrales looking for a takedown here - he's got it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Corrales stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chew swivels though and keeps the full guard. Corrales trying to control the position from guard on top but Chew is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Corrales missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Corrales wants to control from the top but Chew keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chew pushes Corrales off and scrambles back to his feet.
Chew blocks a low kick nicely. Corrales fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Chew sprawls well initially but Corrales persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Corrales performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Chew is trying to stand back up but Corrales is controlling him
Corrales seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Corrales trying to control the action but Chew is working from the bottom. Corrales thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Chew wants to get back to his feet. Corrales trying to control from half guard but Chew is working away. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Corrales escapes and gets back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Corrales tries to close the distance and clinch but Chew swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Rey Corrales is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Corrales avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Corrales shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Corrales was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Corrales pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Corrales content just to control the position here. Chew wants to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chew lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Chew stuffs the takedown. Chew wants to clinch. Chew tries to clinch and Corrales counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. A clash of legs there as Corrales blocks the low kick. Chew tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Corrales counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Chew rushes Corrales and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Corrales takes an elbow to the forehead. Nice elbow from Chew. Chew lands an elbow inside that Corrales shrugs off. Chew landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Chew crunches a lovely knee into Corrales's ribcage. Chew scores a nice knee to the body.
Chew is pressed up against the cage. Corrales has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Chew down to the mat. Chew avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Corrales scores a takedown into full mount! This has been an exciting period of action! Corrales content just to control the position here. Corrales can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Chew is looking to escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Corrales landing strikes from the mount. Corrales tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Corrales goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Chew turns into him and now he's in Corrales's guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Chew won't allow Corrales to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chew wants to stand but Corrales has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Corrales lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Chew! Rey Corrales overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Chew wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Corrales.
Chew really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Corrales. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chew is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Chew tries to buck Corrales off but Corrales takes his back! Chew showing good submission defense here.
Chew is trying to get back to his feet but Corrales has full control of the position and if anything, Chew has just worked his way into a worse spot. Chew staying busy and making it hard for Corrales to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Corrales throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch. Corrales is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Chew up.
Will Corrales go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Corrales is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
