Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Kingsley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Gomez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kingsley comes to the cage accompanied by Blood Stained Nike's - Complete. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kyle Kingsley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jose Gomez! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kingsley scores with a leg kick.
Gomez avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Gomez closes the distance and clinches up with Kingsley, looking for a takedown. Gomez pushes Kingsley against the cage but Kingsley circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Gomez throws a series of punches but Kingsley avoids them all with ease. Kingsley throws a front kick aimed at Gomez's knee but Gomez avoids it well. Gomez fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kingsley avoids it really well and circles away. Gomez misses with a hook. Kingsley ducked under it nicely. Kingsley throws a one two combo.
Gomez tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kingsley was well out of range. Poor timing from Gomez. Kingsley shoots for a double leg takedown but Gomez sprawls well. He's pushed Kingsley's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gomez misses with a few strikes there.
Kyle Kingsley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kingsley throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Gomez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kingsley tries to avoid it but Gomez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kingsley to the ground. Kingsley escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Kyle Kingsley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jose Gomez. Gomez shoots in and bounces Kingsley off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Gomez stops Kingsley from standing up. Kingsley keeping full guard, as Gomez tries to pass. Gomez prevents Kingsley from getting back to his feet. Gomez drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gomez jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Kingsley wants to stand but Gomez is controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gomez slips nicely into half guard. Gomez is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Kingsley has managed to free his arm - good work. Gomez has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Gomez is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Kingsley can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
This has been an exciting period of action! Gomez has control of Kingsley's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Kingsley regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kingsley defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Gomez. Kingsley is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Gomez is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Kingsley to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Kingsley shrugs it off. Kingsley is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Gomez looking for a guillotine from mount but Kingsley is having none of it. Kingsley is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gomez working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Gomez is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Kingsley is surviving well by controlling Gomez's body position as best he can. Gomez won't let Kingsley get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gomez goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Kingsley turns into him and now he's in Gomez's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kingsley tries to stand but Gomez is controlling from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jose Gomez will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Gomez scores a takedown into full mount! You get the feeling that Kingsley really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Gomez is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Gomez extends the arm and Kingsley is forced to tap!
